What information is required to sign up for a LibertyX account? What are the purchasing limits?

Our signup and KYC process (required by federal and state law) is mostly automatic, so for most customers it takes a few minutes between signup and approval to purchase bitcoin.

A small number of customers are asked for additional information if something does not add up, the account appears to be a duplicate account (due to KYC/AML regulations), or we simply aren't able to verify whether the information is correct.

Basic Identity Verification	Up to $1,000 per day	Verified full name, residential address, and date of birth.
ID Document Verification	Up to $2,999 per day	Verified full name, residential address, date of birth, and a scanned government-issued photo ID.
Full Verification (ID + SSN)	Up to $20,000 per day	Verified government-issued ID and Social Security Number (SSN).

Note: Please read our Terms of Service with regards to our privacy policy. Customers are subject to a maximum of four transactions per 48 hours. This means any individual LibertyX purchases at cashier stores, or ATMs.
